Name: Roderich Edelstein
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 140 lbs.
Appearance:
Year: Senior
Likes:
classical music, playing the piano & violin, ballroom dancing, coffee, reading, collecting books, keeping his things organized, honest & trustworthy people, cakes (eating & baking them)
Dislikes:
Sports, schoolwork/busy-work, people who cheat, disorganization/messes
Strengths:
Anything to do with classical music, baking cakes, leading others when the need arises
Weaknesses:
Perfectionist (spends way too much time on one thing), laziness, can be too conventional in his ways, tendency to distance himself from others
Personality:
Born and raised in an Austrian upper-class family, Roderich began mimicking his parents’ body language, attitude, and manner of speech since a very young age. As a result, he’s never managed to shake off that “aristocratic” demeanor or the upper-class’ practice of keeping everyone at arm’s length. He has become quite good at outwardly staying calm, even if he is inwardly frazzled. However, all it takes is a well-placed insult from certain people to set off Roderich’s temper. Because of the way Roderich functions, those same people are likely the ones who know him best.
If there’s anything Roderich despises in his school’s setting, it’s disorganization, otherwise known as messiness. This especially applies when said messiness is in his dorm room or near his precious instruments. Roderich is lazy, but meticulous once he actually scraps up the motivation. He will spend an unnecessary amount of time making sure his notes, projects, and so on are neat enough to satisfy this side of him.

The first thing Roderich saw upon entering his dorm room was the mess his room-mate had made while he was gone. Stepping gingerly over the piles of things on the floor, he eventually made it to his writing desk. Roderich sent the other bed’s sleeping occupant a dark look, briefly wondering if Gilbert had done it on purpose.
He dropped his bookbag on the chair before turning to survey the mess yet again. Roderich sighed. “Out like a light, that one,” he commented, stealing another glance in Gilbert’s direction. Shaking his head, Roderich began picking up the various articles of clothing strewn across the floor, putting them into some semblance of order. “Might as well clean this while I can.” Knowing Gilbert, he would only add to the mess once he was awake.
Did you read the rules?: Soggy waffles with maple syrup is not a combination Roderich would like to try any time soon.
